ould your blood predict how long you are going to live? A group from Duke University identified a number of small RNAs which could be linked to human longevity. In the first stage of the project, epigenetic factors (small RNA) associated with the longevity of older adult were validated. This information was then used to develop predictions models of longevity for potential use in a clinical setting, and finally possible draggable targets were identified which could be exploited to extend human longevity.
